Angela’s Wild Kitchen is a place you can visit to make positive changes one step at a time.
Developing a healthy relationship with food and our bodies is the first step on the path to living an energised and joyful life.
I have a love of Wholefood Cooking and within this site I wish to share my knowledge of natural ingredients and remedies, recipes and tips for helping families to become passionate about healthy food and cooking.
It is my hope that the resources on this site will inspire you to make positive changes in your life.
I have a diploma of Health Sciences in Kinesiology and I am an author, food blogger, public speaker and artist.
I combine my passions through illustrated cookbooks, talks and workshops. My goal is to empower people to live healthier, happier lives by changing their eating and lifestyle habits. There were two things that brought me to this path. First was my work as a kinesiologist when I saw how many people were suffering physically, emotionally and spiritually as a result of their poor food choices. I was simultaneously raising two boys (with my husband) and realising how important it was to embrace a wholefood diet and healthy lifestyle in order to create a happy and healthy family.
My sons, Ethan and Ryan feature in my books, blog posts and are the stars of my videos. Ethan loves to be both in front of and behind the lens and Ryan is slowly warming to it. He is the most passionate of my cooks, spending hours in the kitchen unasked.
They both love to eat and they particularly enjoy eating healthy food. In fact after being away from home, especially at school camps, the first thing they ask for when they come home is fruit and salad. This has been achieved through consistent education and and involvement in all things kitchen related.
My husband Mitchell is great with testing my recipes because if it isn’t written in very clear language, he lets me know. Think he may need more time in the kitchen! Also he is my technical support and my builder of garden structures, mulcher of trees and occasionally, he does some weeding and watering. Would be lost without him. Wonderboy.
