Angela’s Wild Kitchen is a place you can visit to make positive changes one step at a time.
Developing a healthy relationship with food and our bodies is the first step on the path to living an energised and joyful life.
When I was younger, I woke up every day with a stuffy nose and sneezing. It was normal and I just got used to it. I reacted to pollen in spring and the slightest bit of dust would set me off. I got used to having sinus most of the time, developed many ear infections and colds during winter were routine. During my early 20s I became interested in nutrition and slowly started to change my diet. I increased my intake of plant foods, went vegetarian for many years and reduced sugar and processed foods.
At some stage along the way, my constant allergies disappeared. Colds and flus are also a thing of the past. I know this happened because I changed to a whole food diet. That is, consuming minimal processed foods and cutting right back on sugar. It is always plants that take up the most space on our family’s plates.
I have since obtained a diploma of Health Sciences in Kinesiology a naturopathy degree, and qualified as a homeopath with Dr Banerji’s Advanced School of Homeopathy. I now work with people to take responsibility for their own health and make positive and empowering changes.

I combine my passions through illustrated cookbooks, talks and workshops. My goal is to empower people to live healthier, happier lives by changing their eating and lifestyle habits. My sons, Ethan and Ryan feature in my books, blog posts and are the stars of my videos. My husband Mitchell is great with testing my recipes because if it isn’t written in very clear language, he lets me know. Think he may need more time in the kitchen! Also he is my technical support and my builder of garden structures, mulcher of trees and occasionally, he does some weeding and watering.
